Contribute to fiscalm
fiscalm is open source: anyone can use it, read it and improve it. Found a bug, have an idea, or want to write code? You're welcome here.
Getting started
- Browse the issues. The ones labelled good first issue are small and well explained.
- For anything bigger, open an issue first and say what you'd like to do, so you don't spend time on something that won't fit.
- Run the project on your machine with the development guide. It takes a few minutes.
- Send a small pull request: one change, with its test.
Three rules we don't break
- fiscalm never moves money and never sends anything on the user's behalf. It prepares; a person decides.
- When in doubt, it does nothing. A payment matched to the wrong invoice hides a debt.
- No real data in the code: no tax IDs, IBANs, client names or real amounts. Tests use invented data.
Contributor agreement
On your first pull request we'll ask you to sign the contributor licence agreement (CLA). You sign it once, with a comment on the PR:
I have read the fiscalm CLA and I hereby sign it.
The agreement says you have the right to submit the code and that you let us use it, including under a licence other than the AGPL. That right lets us keep the project going in the long run, for example with a hosted version. Your code stays yours, and you can do whatever you like with it. Read the agreement.

Please don't put them in public issues. Email security@fiscalm.ro and we'll reply within a few days.
